The discuss@bgl.mcs.anl.gov mailing list is intended to provide BG/L users with an avenue to share information and answer questions regarding the IBM BG platform. New users of the ANL/MCS BGL system are automatically added to this list.

Appropriate topics for the discussion list:

  • Application questions, queries and help
  • System Software and management issues and questions
  • General BG related questions and queries.

The list is archived and the archives are available on the web.

Subscribing and Unsubscribing to the list

The list is a majordomo mailing list and as such, the standard majordomo methods are used to subscribe and unsubscribe from the list.

To subscribe to the list send email to majordomo@bgl.mcs.anl.gov with the following line in the body of the message: 

subscribe discuss <emailaddress>

To unsubscribe to the list send email to majordomo@bgl.mcs.anl.gov with the following line in the body of the message: 

unsubscribe discuss <emailaddress>

Where <emailaddress> is the email address you wish subscribed or unsubscribed from the list.
